Hexagon is providing the Construction Management Services for the largest Crystal lagoons in the world in Sharm ElSheikh (Sqm 320,000), owned by Golden Coast and with a Budget of USD 52 millions. The water source for the lagoons will likely come from the Red Sea, which is a mere three kilometers away. Using Crystal Lagoons patented water-filtering technology; the pools only need to be filled once, after which the water will be constantly circulated, filtered and disinfected. CityStars in Sharm el Sheikh is the first mega-project that Crystal Lagoons is developing with local Egyptian partners. In addition, the lagoon has a center island including a high-end restaurant called (La Voile Rouge) which serves up to 2000 persons Lagoon is surrounded with swimming pools each of which has a bar (Waves Bars) serving people on the beaches.
